The same fabrication line can serve very different markets, but the documentation, material choices and inspection plan should not be identical. Here is how we adapt the build to your industry.
Industrial & robotics
Motion controllers, sensor interfaces and power stages live in cabinets that get hot and vibrate. We specify high-Tg laminate where needed, use heavy copper for current paths and add conformal coating for humidity and contamination. Assembly can include connectors, terminal blocks and programming.
- Typical boardsMotor drivers, I/O modules, sensor boards, gateways
- Process focusThermal management, vibration-resistant connectors, coating
- DocumentationAssembly drawing, test procedure, lot traceability
Automotive
Under-hood and EV subsystems need thermal stability and current capacity. High-Tg FR-4, 2-6 oz copper and aluminium cores are common, with PPAP-style documentation and FAI available for production programs. We define the inspection plan around the failure modes that matter: solder-joint reliability, thermal cycling and connector retention.
- Typical boardsBMS, motor controllers, LED drivers, chargers, sensor modules
- Process focusHigh-Tg material, heavy copper, thermal vias, vibration
- DocumentationFAI, control plan, material declarations, lot traceability
Medical devices
Diagnostic and monitoring hardware needs repeatable process control and records that can be reviewed later. We keep material lots, inspection results and test data linked to the build, and can work under NDA for designs that are not yet public. Cleanliness, conformal coating and connector integrity are reviewed per project.
- Typical boardsDiagnostic instruments, monitoring devices, laboratory equipment
- Process focusTraceability, coating, controlled rework, documented inspection
- DocumentationFAI, test reports, CoC, material declarations
IoT & wearables
Compact connected products push toward HDI, rigid-flex and fine-pitch assembly. We build 1-3 lamination HDI, assemble 0201 passives and CSP/BGA packages, and can program and serialise devices before shipment. Antenna keep-out and impedance control are reviewed with the stack-up.
- Typical boardsSensor nodes, gateways, wearables, camera modules
- Process focusHDI, rigid-flex, fine-pitch assembly, RF impedance
- DocumentationImpedance report, programming record, test results
Aerospace & defence
High-layer-count boards, controlled impedance and traceable documentation are the baseline. We review the stack-up, material and inspection plan against the program requirements, and can provide cross-sections, coupons and FAI. Export-control and confidentiality requirements are discussed before files are shared.
- Typical boardsAvionics modules, RF assemblies, ruggedised controllers
- Process focusHigh layer count, impedance, thermal cycling, documentation
- DocumentationFAI, cross-sections, coupons, CoC, lot traceability
Power & energy
Inverters, chargers, BMS and power supplies combine high current with tight thermal limits. Heavy copper, aluminium cores and thermal vias are common. We review creepage and clearance, mask openings and assembly profiles for thermally massive boards before release.
- Typical boardsInverters, chargers, BMS, power supplies, motor drives
- Process focusHeavy copper, metal core, thermal management, isolation
- DocumentationStack-up approval, test plan, FAI where required
