How to prepare Gerber, drill and centroid files for a 24-hour quote
A practical checklist for exporting fabrication and assembly files that quote cleanly and assemble without surprises.
Read articleFeSS Technology brings fabrication, authentic component sourcing and SMT assembly together — with 24-hour quotes, 3–5 day quick-turn builds and DDP delivery across the United States and Canada.
Skip the hand-offs. FeSS manages your bare board, components and SMT assembly on one schedule, with one point of contact and one shipment.
Bare boards from 1 to 40 layers with controlled impedance, ENIG or HASL finish and 100% electrical test.

Most delays in PCB projects come from coordination, not manufacturing. FeSS removes those hand-offs by keeping fabrication, procurement and assembly in one workflow — and by flagging problems before your boards are built, not after.
Your project moves through a defined, documented flow — with a status update at every stage and no hidden wait time between suppliers.
Send Gerber, BOM and quantity. We return pricing and engineering notes within one business day.
24 hoursDrilling, imaging, plating, lamination, solder mask and surface finish under IPC-class process control.
3–5 daysWe purchase and verify components in parallel with fabrication to protect your build date.
In parallelStencil, solder paste, pick-and-place, reflow, AOI and through-hole or BGA rework as required.
24–72 hoursElectrical test, inspection and documentation, then DDP shipping to your door in the US or Canada.
2–4 days transitFrom a 2-layer prototype panel to a 40-layer HDI build, FeSS covers the materials, tolerances and inspection your design needs — then assembles it with the same team.
Our quality plan is matched to your product and your risk profile. Standard builds include electrical test and visual inspection; higher-reliability programs add X-ray, cross-sectioning, impedance coupons and first-article reports.
Prototype or production, our process adapts to the documentation, traceability and inspection requirements of your market.
Motion controllers, sensor boards and power stages built for vibration, heat and continuous duty.
High-Tg material, heavy copper and PPAP-style documentation for under-hood and EV subsystems.
Controlled processes, lot traceability and inspection records for diagnostic and monitoring hardware.
HDI, rigid-flex and fine-pitch assembly for compact, low-power connected products.
Controlled impedance, high-layer-count boards and first-article documentation for critical systems.
Heavy copper, metal-core and thermal-management designs for inverters, BMS and chargers.

“FeSS turned our rev-B prototype around in four days, including a DFM catch that would have shorted two pads on the fine-pitch connector. That one note saved us a full re-spin.”
“One PO covered fabrication, parts and assembly, and the boards arrived in Toronto with duties already handled. The X-ray report on our BGA was included without us asking.”
“We moved three product lines to FeSS after a supplier missed two build dates. Six months in, every order has shipped on the committed date and the DFM feedback is genuinely useful.”
Send Gerber files (RS-274X), an NC drill file and a BOM with reference designators, quantities and acceptable substitutes. For assembly, also include the centroid / pick-and-place file. A short read-me with quantity, layer count, finish, thickness and target date helps us quote faster.
Standard quick-turn fabrication is 3–5 working days after design approval. SMT assembly typically adds 24–72 hours depending on component count and stencils. If you have a hard deadline, tell us at quote stage and we will confirm the fastest achievable date before you order.
No. We build single prototypes and low-volume production runs from one board upward. Panelization is optimized to keep your cost sensible whether you need 1, 10 or 1,000 pieces.
Yes. We ship DDP (delivered duty paid) by default for US and Canadian customers, so freight, duties and import clearance are handled in one invoice. If your company requires a different Incoterm or your own freight account, we can arrange that too.
Yes. Turnkey orders include component procurement from authorised distributors with lot traceability. We will flag long lead times, suggest form-fit-function alternatives and confirm substitutions with you before purchase. Consigned parts are also welcome.
Yes. Send your NDA before transmitting design files and we will review and sign it. We can also provide our standard mutual NDA if you do not have one.
